About Food Sensitivities
Food sensitivities cause a wide variety of illnesses ranging from skin rashes and headaches to chronic intestinal disease. They can be very difficult to identify, because symptoms can be delayed up to 72 hours after eating a food you are sensitive to.
How do I get tested?
Ask your doctor at your next appointment if you are eligible for Food Inflammation Testing. If you are, we will provide a list of the foods we test and go over your symptoms to choose which of the 3 Food Sensitivity Panels are right for you!
How does it work?
You will be given a FIT Test Kit from your provider to take home with you. It measures whatever foods, colorings, and additives you and your doctor have chosen. The different testing options are the FIT 22, 132, and 176. The numbers indicate how many foods you are opting to test. You will collect your own sample at home and send the blood collection to KBMO diagnostics. Your results are then sent to your provider, and we will reach out to you to schedule a review of the results. At your appointment, we will go over which foods are impacting your health, and you will receive a personalized meal plan from the team at KMBO.
